- *Download the Shaka Guide app to access your purchased tours.* BIG CYPRESS -Big Cypress is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. -The preserve has two visitor centers, both close at 4:30 p.m. -Pack bug repellent - especially in the wet (summer season). -We recommend only attempting the Scenic Loop Drive if your vehicle is equipped for offroading. EVERGLADES -Entrance to the park is $30 per vehicle. -The park is open 365 days a year - the hours vary based on staffing and seasonality. Call the park to confirm the park hours during your visit. -The park has four visitor centers that are open until 5 p.m. -There are no restaurants in the park - pack snacks for your visit! -Pack bug spray! OVERSEAS HIGHWAY Multiple stops on the tour require entrance fees to visit, check out the budgeting section below for more information. Advance reservations are suggested at the Turtle Hospital, Dolphin Research Center, and Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters.
